Does Pavestone make 90-degree corners in Edgestone?

Pavestone doesn't have 90-degree corners for the Edgestone. If you need to make a 90-degree corner it can easily be made with a 3 in. masonry chisel and a hand sledgehammer. Just score the Edgestone on all 4 sides with the chisel and sledgehammer. Then put the chisel on the score mark and hit it a few more times and it should split. Once it is split in two pieces, you can place one of the split pieces on either the left or the right side of the other split piece to form the 90-degree corner. Cuts can also be done with a guillotine splitter but for more precision cuts a circular saw with a masonry blade is recommended. Caution: Always wear protective eye-gear when splitting stones.

Can Edgestone be laid right on top of the ground?

It is recommended that you dig a trench and install your Edgestone at a minimum of 1 in. in the ground and most applications 2 in. to 3 in. in the ground for the best use of the product. Edgestone can be buried in the ground almost level with the yard so that you can ride your lawnmower wheel on top of it and use it as a mow-strip.
